Founder/CEO

Born and Raised in Richmond, Virginia, Melvin is a true inspiration. Melvin is the founder of Foster-U which is an organization aimed at encouraging youth in foster care to reach higher education. Melvin also serves on the board of directors for United Methodist Family Services and as an Advisory Board Member for Tidewater Friends of Foster Care and Connect Our Kids.

Melvin entered the foster care system in March of 2015 with a goal in mind to one day be the change that the foster care system needed.
